la Brezza


Makes 1 drink

2 ounces Bastianich grappa

2 ounces fresh grapefruit juice

2 ounces cranberry juice

1 teaspoon Amaro Averna

Half a lime

Lime wedge, for garnish


Fill a highball with ice cubes and pour the Bastianich grappa over, then add cranberry juice, fresh grapefruit juice and Amaro Averna. Squeeze a half a lime over, then stir gently.


Garnish with a lime wedge and drink up.

La Brezza

With winter behind us, spring drinking is lighter and less brown usually, and I love a Sea Breeze.  We Italianize it with grappa and I use my biz partners’ brand because it’s the real deal.
