With harvest apples from the north and lip-puckering lemons from down south, this cocktail reminds me of fall but with a hopeful hint of warmer weather to come!
1 slice of green apple
3 thin slices of lemon
4 ice cubes
4 ounces cold apple cider
2 ounces bourbon, such as Maker’s Mark
Place apple and lemon slices in a mixing glass and muddle with vigor.
Add ice, cider, and bourbon, then pour the whole thing into a shaker.
Shake, pour the whole shebang into a rocks glass and serve at once.
